![]() ![]() This can also be somewhat of a hassle though, but its one way to troubleshoot at least. It might not fix anything, but at least its a way to troubleshoot :)Īnother thing that can be done is to try using the PS5 on a different network, if you have the opportunity to do that (at a friend's/relative's house or at work for example). If that doesnt work, i might have tried to factory reseting the phone itself in worse case senario. Personally, i would try to reset the router first (which might be the quickest thing to do), and if that doesnt work, then try factory resetting the PS5. But doing a factory reset itself should be fairly safe i think, at least i havnt heard any issues related to that process in itself, but maybe i've missed something.ĭoing a factory reset can be somewhat cumbersome though because everything needs to be set up again, but its often a good way to troubleshoot. Have there been any problems related to the factory reset itself by the way? I've read about some issues like the download queue not showing up like it should, and restmode not working as it should (maybe these things have been fixed by now, but they were issues before at least). I havnt really followed the thread that much, sorry, so maybe this has already been mentioned, but have you tried to do a factory reset of both the PS5 and your router? And which error message do you get?Ĭlick to shrink.Understood. ![]() I guess its hard to know for sure, unfortunately, but i could at least see it being a possibility for why it doesnt work. Since it works for others, maybe its some random software bug in the PS5, or that theres something wrong with a specific PS5 unit. I forgot to say in my reply yesterday that its not impossible that there could be an issue with the PS5 itself. Microsoft are indeed good at their craft, i agree with that :) And based on that, i'm not really surprised that Microsoft managed to make a pretty solid game streaming solution eventhough that others did it before them. From what i've read though, some say that one works better than the other, and others say the opposite, so i'm not sure if Microsoft's or Sony's solution is noticeably better than the other overall, but i do get the impression that both streaming solutions work quite well in general at least :) But that said, i agree with you that Microsoft do have good knowledge on software in general, indeed. I havnt really tried the remote play on Playstation and Xbox (i think i only tried it once between a PS4 and Vita some years ago, and that worked well from what i can remember), so i personally cant say much about it, unfortunately. ![]()
